A TEACHING LESSON IN BLUES
Most people know Philip Charles
Lithman (b. 1949 – d. 1987) under his stage name Snakefinger, may it be
from some Residents albums or from his solo recordings. In 1983
Snakefinger went on tour with an eight-piece-band to present his History
of the Blues. Luckily some of the European shows were recorded back then
– and luckily promising music could get hold of the original tapes.

vinyl in 1984, but, due to the time limitations, featured only 11
